1. Scope and Purpose 

This Consumer Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to Heritage Landscape Supply Group Inc., located at 7440 State Highway 121, McKinney, Texas 75078, and, where applicable, the specific SRS-affiliated legal entity that operates the website, application, portal, or other service from which you accessed this Privacy Policy and that links to or expressly adopts this Privacy Policy (each, as applicable, the “Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our”). 


The Company provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information in connection with our business, including personal information collected from individuals who interact with us by phone, email, or at events; representatives and other contacts of our customers, suppliers, vendors, contractors, and other business partners; visitors to and users of websites, applications, portals, and other services operated by the Company that link to or expressly adopt this Privacy Policy (each, a “Site” and “Sites”). This notice does not cover practices of other companies, such as contractors that sell materials or services to property owners. 


When you apply for a job with us, your personal information will be collected by us. You can also apply directly to our affiliates.

Types of Personal Information We Collect 

  • Identifiers, such as name, contact information, including your postal address, email address, and telephone number, account or username information, and online identifiers. 

  • Payment and financial information, such as billing information, payment card information, commercial credit information, and information relating to financing inquiries or transactions, where applicable. 

  • Commercial information, including products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, transaction history and purchasing preferences. 

  • Professional or business-related information, such as your employer, job title, business contact information, profession or trade, and information regarding your relationship with a customer, supplier, vendor, contractor, or other business partner. 

  • Property and project information, such as property addresses; property ownership and other public-record information; property characteristics; property imagery and measurements; roof-related information; weather, climate, and environmental information associated with a property; and project details, estimates, proposals, and related records. 

  • Inferences, profiles, scores, recommendations, and insights derived from personal information, such as homeowner or customer personas, preferences, likely interests, shopping tendencies, classifications, lead or project indicators, product or service recommendations, and sales or marketing insights. 

  • Sensory information, including call, chat, and meeting recordings. 

  • Sensitive personal information, such as account log-in credentials; geolocation information, where collected with your permission; government-issued identifiers; financial account, debit card, or credit card information in combination with any required security or access code, password, or other credentials allowing access to an account, where collected for legal, security, financing, or transaction-related purposes; and other information defined as sensitive personal information under applicable law. 

  • Internet or other similar network activity, including IP address, browser and device information, browsing and search history, and details of your interaction with the Sites or advertisements, including information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies. 

  • Geolocation information obtained through your device or use of the Sites, where enabled or permitted. 

2. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies 

  • We and certain third parties may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, software development kits, session replay tools, and similar technologies on the Sites. These technologies may collect information about your browser or device and your interactions with the Sites, including pages viewed, links selected, features used, referring websites, and the dates and times of visits. We use this information to operate the Sites, remember preferences, understand how the Sites are used, improve our products and services, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and, where permitted, provide or measure advertising.

Where required by applicable law, we recognize opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control. 

  • Certain Sites may use Google Analytics. You may prevent Google Analytics from using information about your Site activity by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You may also manage how Google uses information to personalize advertisements through Google My Ad Center. These Google controls are provided by Google and operate separately from the choices available through the “Your Privacy Choices” link on the applicable Site.

  • From property information, data enrichment, mapping, imagery, weather, climate, lead-generation, and similar data providers. 

  • From government agencies, law enforcement, or regulatory bodies, where permitted or required by law. 

4. How We Use Personal Information 

We may use personal information for the following purposes: 

  • To provide, operate, support, and improve our products and services, including to process transactions, fulfill orders, administer accounts, provide customer support, and manage our relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, vendors, and other business partners. 

  • To develop, generate, provide, operate, and improve Property Reports, project information, analytics, leads, recommendations, insights, and similar products and services; identify and evaluate project opportunities; and support lead generation, referrals, estimates, proposals, and contractor and customer sales activities. 

  • To communicate with you, respond to inquiries and requests, provide technical notices, updates, security alerts, and other administrative messages, and send information regarding products, services, promotions, and events. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before sending marketing communications. 

  • To operate and administer the Sites; understand how individuals use the Sites; personalize content and experiences, conduct analytics, and measure and improve the effectiveness of the Sites, products, services, and marketing activities. 

  • To protect the security and integrity of the Sites, products, services, systems, facilities, and business operations; detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and other unlawful or unauthorized activity; and conduct internal auditing and compliance activities.

  • For other purposes disclosed at the time personal information is collected, with your consent where required, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. 

If you opt in to receive text messages, we may use your telephone number to send those communications in accordance with applicable law. 

5. How We Disclose Personal Information 

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients: 

  • Service providers and vendors that perform services on our behalf or support our business operations, including providers that host or maintain our systems and Sites; process transactions and fulfill orders; provide customer support; facilitate communications; conduct analytics, promotions, or surveys; support security and fraud prevention; and assist with Property Reports and related products and services. 

  • Customers, contractors, dealers, installers, suppliers, and other business partners in connection with our products and services. Where applicable, certain of our Sites and services may also disclose personal information in connection with Property Reports, project information, leads, analytics, recommendations, insights, estimates, proposals, referrals, project opportunities, and related products and services. We may disclose personal information to connect individuals or properties with businesses that may offer relevant products or services. In jurisdictions where we make these disclosures and applicable law treats the disclosure as a “sale” of personal information, you may submit an applicable opt-out request through the privacy request form on the applicable Site or as otherwise described in Section 13 (Privacy Rights) below. 

  • Advertising, analytics, marketing, and social media partners that help us understand use of the Sites, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, personalize content, and deliver advertising. Certain disclosures to these partners may constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or use of personal information for targeted advertising under applicable state privacy laws. You may exercise applicable opt-out rights through the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of the applicable Site. 

  • Our affiliates and subsidiaries for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy, including to operate our business, provide products and services, administer shared systems, and manage customer and business relationships.

6. Third-Party Links and Services 

The Sites may contain links to, integrate with, or provide access to websites, applications, and services operated by third parties. These third parties may collect personal information directly from you and process it in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review the applicable privacy policy before providing personal information to a third party. 

7. Data Security 

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. The safeguards we use vary depending on the nature and sensitivity of the personal information and the risks associated with its use. However, no security measure or method of transmitting or storing information can be guaranteed to be completely secure. 

8. Data Retention 

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In determining the appropriate retention period, we may consider the nature and sensitivity of the personal information, the purposes for which it was collected, the duration of our relationship with you or the relevant business, and applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, reporting, security, dispute-resolution, and enforcement requirements. 

When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable legal requirements and our ordinary backup, archival, and deletion processes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Privacy Policy on the applicable Site and update the “Last Updated” date above. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice as required by applicable law. 

10. U.S.-Based Operations 

The Company is based in the United States, and our Sites and business operations are primarily directed to individuals in the United States. If you access a Site or otherwise interact with us from outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have privacy laws that differ from the laws in your home jurisdiction. 

11. Children’s Privacy 

The Sites are intended for a general business audience and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 through the Sites. If we learn that we have collected personal information from an individual under 18 through the Sites, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
