These disclosures generally apply to California residents interacting with SRS as Site visitors, customers, prospective customers, vendor representatives, contractors in a business capacity, and other business contacts.

The Notices at Collection below describe the categories of personal information we may collect, the purposes for which we may use and disclose that information, and the criteria we use to determine how long the information will be retained. Section 2 describes our collection, sale, sharing, and disclosure practices during the preceding 12 months.

While SRS does not sell personal information for monetary compensation, we may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and similar advertising technologies that involve disclosures of certain identifiers, Internet activity information, and similar data to advertising, analytics, and social media partners.   • Approximate geolocation information derived from IP addresses or similar technologies.
  • Inferences, profiles, recommendations, customer insights, preferences, interests, purchasing tendencies, and similar information derived from personal information regarding a consumer’s interactions with our Sites, products, and services.
  • Sensitive personal information, such as account log-in credentials and, where collected, government-issued identifiers or financial account, debit card, or credit card information in combination with any required security or access code, password, or other credentials allowing access to an account, used for legal, security, fraud-prevention, financing, or transaction-related purposes.

Purposes

  • Professional or business-related information, such as employer, job title, business contact information, profession or trade, and information regarding an individual’s relationship with a customer, supplier, vendor, contractor, or other business partner.
  • Inferences, profiles, recommendations, customer insights, preferences, interests, purchasing tendencies, and similar information derived from personal information regarding an individual’s interactions with our Sites, products, and services.
  • Sensitive personal information, such as account log-in credentials and, where collected, government-issued identifiers or financial account, debit card, or credit card information in combination with any required security or access code, password, or other credentials allowing access to an account, used for legal, security, fraud-prevention, financing, or transaction-related purposes.

Purposes

We use personal information to provide, manage, secure, improve, and support our Sites, products, and services; respond to requests; manage customer accounts and business relationships; process inquiries, purchases, transactions, payments, financing activities, estimates, recommendations, referrals, project opportunities, and customer support; send product, service, technical, security, and administrative communications; conduct marketing, advertising, analytics, campaign measurement, fraud prevention, security, and internal auditing; comply with applicable law and legal process; manage claims and litigation; support corporate transactions; and otherwise operate our business as permitted by law.

Retention

The retention period for each category of personal information described in these Notices at Collection depends on the nature of the information and the purposes for which it is collected and used. We retain each category for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, including for the duration of the applicable customer, account, transaction, or business relationship and thereafter as reasonably necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, litigation-hold, security, fraud-prevention, recordkeeping, operational, and dispute-resolution requirements and our ordinary backup, archival, and deletion processes.

Not every category applies to every individual. The applicable categories, sources, and recipients depend on whether the individual interacts with SRS as a Site visitor, customer, prospective customer, vendor representative, contractor in a business capacity, or other business contact.

CCPA Rights

Subject to applicable exceptions, California residents have the following rights under the CCPA:

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We disclose certain personal information to advertising, analytics, and social media partners in ways that may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA. You may opt out by using the “Your Privacy Choices” link available on the applicable Site.

Right to Limit the Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information. You may have the right to limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to the purposes specified in California Civil Code section 1798.121(a). We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those specified in California Civil Code section 1798.121(a) or otherwise requiring us to provide a right to limit.

Right to Know and Access.You may request information about the personal information we have collected about you, including the categories of personal information, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing it, the categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed, and the specific pieces of personal information we maintain about you. You may exercise this right no more than twice within a 12-month period.

Right to Delete. You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from or about you, subject to applicable exceptions.

Right to Correct.You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Right to Data Portability.You may request a copy of certain personal information in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format.

Right to Non-Discrimination.We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right available under the CCPA.

Verification
To protect personal information, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding to a request. The verification process may vary depending on the nature of the request, your relationship and prior interactions with SRS, and the sensitivity of the personal information involved. We may request information that can be matched against information we already maintain. If we cannot reasonably verify your identity or authority to make the request, we may be unable to fulfill it. We will use personal information collected for verification only to verify and process the request, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable law.

Opt-Out Preference Signals
We respond to opt-out preference signals communicated through the Global Privacy Control and process such signals with respect to the browser or device communicating the signal or, where technically supported, more broadly with respect to you if you are signed into an account associated with the applicable Site when the signal is received.

Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the authorized agent to provide proof that you gave the agent signed permission to submit the request. We may also require you to verify your identity directly with us or confirm that you authorized the agent to act on your behalf. These requirements do not apply where the authorized agent has a valid power of attorney under applicable law.
